Immediate Openings
Alarm Tech
The alarm installation technician works to provide on-premises support. The technician will install, test, and train customers on their system.
Electrician
DUTIES
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Work on both low and high voltage systems as required by project specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local regulations and safety standards
SKILLS
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential electrician or construction electrician
- Experience with installation, assembly, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices, following electrical layout drawings and building permits
- Vocational or technical training in electrical installation and maintenance preferred
- Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems
- Preferred safety training; OSHA 10 hour, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout for safe installation and work practices
- Experience in new residential construction
- Attention to detail in all tasks performed
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Understand and follow OSHA requirements
- Valid NYS driver’s license and own transportation
